The Next Steps of Our Journey- the new chapter
When people ask how we are- how I am, how the kids are doing… I answer honestly. We are doing well. This is not a lie at all! God has...
Living life well, even if we must fight for it...
for the glory of God and the benefit of others.
Proverbs 3:5-6 Deuteronomy 31:6
Married in 2006 to my bride Karyn. 10 years and three kids later we discovered cancer. God used cancer to reveal how much He loves us. We are normal people becoming more extraordinary every day with love, work, joy, pain, expenses, kids and laughter. I invite you to learn with us, work with us, laugh with us, support us in our journey for my wife's life. Join us to hear our stories, truths we learn and how to count it all joy in the midst of a life altering trial...
"Don't worry about the scars I say do not do that today... Scars mean you are healing and that is a good thing! Imagine a day without scars and I think it'd be a bad one. It would mean your body could not keep up in this broken place and we'd no longer see your beautiful face! We all would fall apart if scars were no more. But we yet live on- we live forever because of the scars that Jesus bore.
I believe we will all have scars before its all said and done. Even more if we live like Jesus- He took on scars... and then won. See, scars are a sign of victory, of battles fought and won. Even if we don't all quite win, we actually still do because God sent His Son.
So do not worry about the scars that may cover you someplace. Do not worry about them at all today! Take today while its in your grasp! Make the best of it and enjoy it while it lasts." -I.G. Moody
